한솥아트스페이스는 ‘관계’와 ‘소통’에 대한 따뜻한 시선을 담아온 영국 출신 일러스트레이터이자 삽화가 제인 마시 Jane Massey의 개인전 <With You>을 개최합니다.

제인 마시는 사랑스러운 아이들과 반려동물들을 통해 일상의 평범한 순간을 아름답게 그려내는 삽화와 드로잉으로 잘 알려져 있습니다.

본 전시에서는 연필, 펜, 잉크 등으로 자유롭게 스케치한 선 위에 맑은 색감을 더한 그림 약 70여 점을 선보입니다.

화창한 봄날, <With You> 를 통해 삶의 아름다운 순간을 기대하며, 모두가 잠시 머물러 따뜻한 기억과 풍경을 떠올리고, 함께 이야기를 나눌 수 있는 시간이 되기를 바랍니다.

Hansot Art Space is hosting a solo show <With You> by British illustrator Jane Massey, known for her warm perspective on “relationships” and “communication”. Celebrated for her charming illustrations that capture the beauty of everyday moments through the innocence of children, Massey has worked with renowned publishers such as Random House, Campbell Books, and Penguin Books over the past 20 years. She has published over 40 picture books, with her works reaching readers in 15 countries resonating across borders and generations.

This exhibition features approx. 70 works where Jane Massey enhances her freehand sketches—created with pencil, pen, and ink—with soft, luminous colors.

On this bright spring day, <With You> invites visitors of all ages to reflect and celebrate life’s beautiful moments. We hope this exhibition becomes a space where children and adults alike can linger, recall warm memories, and share stories together.

영국 출신의 일러스트레이터이자 책 삽화가 제인 마시(Jane Massey)는 사랑스러운 아이의 시선을 통해, 일상의 평범한 순간을 따뜻하고 마법처럼 느껴지게 만드는 그림으로 세계적인 사랑을 받고 있습니다.

작가는 지난 20여 년간 Random House, Puffin Books, Penguin Books, Little Tiger Press, Bloomsbury, Michael O’Mara, Helen Exley Gift Books 등 세계 유수의 출판사들과 함께 40권 이상의 동화책을 출간했고, 그녀의 작품은 영국을 비롯해 프랑스, 포르투갈, 덴마크, 노르웨이, 캐나다, 미국, 브라질, 인도, 터키, 호주, 뉴질랜드, 일본, 중국, 러시아 등 15개국에서 번역·출판되며 독자들과 만나고 있습니다.

현재 제인 마시는 영국 남쪽 해변 도시 호브(Hove)에 거주하며 조용한 일상 속에서 꾸준히 작업을 이어가고 있습니다.
